Born February 10, 1842, at Bradford, Vt.; moved to Oxford, N. H., in 1856; graduated at Dartmouth College, 1863; studied law in the Albany Law School, and was admitted to the bar in 1864. He began the practice of his profession in Brooklyn in 1866, and in 1869 was appointed Assistant Corporation Counsel of that city, and held the office for eight years; being the only Assistant Corporation Counsel, during most of that period, to Mr. William C. Dewitt, the Corporation Counsel. In 1889, he was appointed United States District Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and held the office until January, 1894. He has been a member of the Kings County Republican General Committee eight years, and also a member of National, State and Local Republican Conventions. He is in the active practice of his profession, as the head of the law firm of Johnson & Lamb, at 26 Court street (Garfield building), and resides at 308 Clinton avenue, Brooklyn, N. Y.

Born July 1, 1857, at Zalienople, Butler County, Penn., and son of the late Rev. Dr. George Charles Holls, a distinguished Lutheran theologian educator and philanthropist. He was educated at Columbia Grammar School; graduated at Columbia College in 1878; at Columbia Law School, cum laude, and was admitted to the bar in 1880; since which time he has practiced his profession, with offices at No. 120 Broadway, New York City. He is a director of, and counsel for, the German Society of the City of New York. He has published, in the German language, a sketch of "Francis Lieber, his Life and Works," and, in the English language, a sketch of travel in Turkey and Russia, entitled "Sancta Sofia and Troitza." He is also the author of a lecture on Compulsory Voting," which was published by the American Academy of Political Science. He has resided in Westchester county, N. Y., with his family since 1866. and now resides at No. 583 North Broadway, Yonkers, N. Y.

Born April 12, 1847, in Newburgh, N. Y. He is an attorney and counselor at law; was a member of the Board of Education of the city of Newburgh, 1871-83; Special County Judge of Orange County, 1876-79, and, since January 1, 1890, District Attorney of Orange County, which office he still holds. Law offices, 37 Second street, and residence, Grand avenue, Newburgh, N. Y.
