Born at West Troy, Albany County, N. Y.; admitted to the bar, 1866; now a manufacturer; Justice of the Peace of Watervliet, Albany County, eight years; Surrogate of Albany County twelve years, and President of the village of West Troy, six terms. He resides at West Troy, N. Y.

Born October 13, 1829, in Bethlehem, Albany County, N. Y., of HollandDutch parents, both born in same town. Educated in the public schools; is a practical surveyor, and also engaged in farming, and has always resided in the town of his birth. He has represented his town in the Albany County Board of Supervisors four terms, 1863-66. His post-office address is Becker's Corners, Albany County, N. Y.

Born April 19, 1864, in Quebec, Canada; came to Albany when five years of age; educated in the Christian Brothers' School, and served an apprenticeship in the carpenter's trade. He took an early interest in the Trades Union movement and has held every office in his local union; he was made Grand Marshal by the Albany Central Federation, of its Labor Day parade, and, by request of same Federation, was nominated by the Democratic City Convention as District Delegate to the present Constitutional Convention. He resides at 43 Myrtle avenue, Albany, N. Y.
