Amend section 4, by changing the word "veterinaries" to "veterinarians," in the fourth line. And by inserting the word "any" between the words "of" and "state," in the sixth line thereof. Also, insert the word "the" between the words "of” and “state,” in the thirteenth line of said section.

Amend section 11, by inserting the words "also actual," after the words "per diem," in the second line. Also, by changing the word "does" to "do," in the fourth line.

A bill for an act to amend sections four hundred seventeen (417) and four hundred eigteen (418) of the code, relating to supervisor districts and the election of members thereof.

Be it Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa:

Section 1. That section four hundred seventeen (417), chapter two (2), title four (4) of the code, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "Such districts shall be as nearly equal in population as possible, each of which said districts shall be entitled to one member of such board, to be elected by the electors of the entire county. The candidates shall be residents of the district and nominated by the electors of said district. The candidate residing in such district receiving the highest number of votes shall be the member of the board of supervisors from said district.

Sec. 2. That section four hundred eighteen (418), chapter two (2), title four (4) of the code be amended by striking therefrom the words, "By and," in the fourth line of said section, and the words "by and," in the sixth and seventh lines of said section.
