The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to the final passage of said bill, the same having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form for three calendar legislative days, and it was decided in the affirmative, a majority of all the Senators elected voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths being present, as follows:

(4) Senate (No. 220, Int. No. 9), entitled "An act to amend the General City Law, in relation to the regulation of buildings and the location of trades and industries."

(5) Senate (No. 15, Int. No. 15), entitled "An act to release to Florence Osborn all the right, title and interest of the people of the State of New York in and to certain real estate situate in the city of Rochester, county of Monroe and State of New York."

(10) Senate (No. 110, Int. No. 110), entitled "An act to authorize the town of Burke, Franklin county, to vote upon a proposition to acquire by purchase a building for a town hall to be located in the village of Burke, and, upon the adoption of such proposition, authorizing the town board of such town to issue certificates of indebtedness thereof to pay the cost of such building, and providing for the raising, by taxation, of the amount of such cost and the payment of such certificates of indebtedness."

(11) Senate (No. 115, Int. No. 115), entitled "An act validating an election held in the city of Johnstown on the twenty-seventh day of May, nineteen hundred and twenty-six, authorizing an issue of city hall building bonds of the city of Johnstown in the amount of one hundred and fifty-nine thousand dollars and an issue of city hall site bonds in the amount of seven thousand five hundred dollars and validating said bonds and all proceedings had in connection with the issuance thereof and authorizing the raising annually by tax of a sum sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and the principal thereof as the same respectively become due and payable."

(12) Senate (No. 116, Int. No. 116), entitled "An act validating an election held in the city of Johnstown on the second day of November, nineteen hundred and twenty-six, authorizing an issue of lighting bonds of the city of Johnstown in the amount of thirty thousand dollars and validating said bonds and all proceedings had in connection with the issuance thereof and authorizing the raising annually by tax of a sum sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and the principal thereof as the same respectively become due and payable."

(13) Senate (No. 157, Int. No. 157), entitled "An act to amend the State Charities Law, in relation to the State Agricultural and Industrial School at Industry."

(23) Senate (No. 292, Int. No. 276), entitled "An act to legalize acts and proceedings relating to the Seaford fire district, in the town of Hempstead, county of Nassau, and defining the boundaries of such district."

(24) Senate (No. 5, Int. No. 5), entitled "An act to amend the County Law, in relation to fire district."

After some time spent therein, the President resumed the chair, and Mr. Wheatley, from said committee, reported in favor of the passage or the above named bills, the 16th, 21st and 24th, with amendments, which report was agreed to, and said bills ordered to a third reading.

Mr. Knight announced the death of the Hon. Willis Wendell, former Senator from the 39th District, and moved that when the Senate adjourn it do so out of respect to the memory of the late Willis Wendell.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative by a rising vote.

Senators Knight, Byrne and Mastick addressed the Senate upon the life and service of the late Willis Wendell.

Mr. Knight moved that the Senate do now adjourn.

Whereupon, The Senate adjourned out of respect to the memory of the late Hon. Willis Wendell.
