The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the train, the cause and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person, as follows;

1866.

April 12. On Johnson street, near Ewin street, a child of Mr. Strouse, aged 24 years, while playing on the track, was run over and severely injured; died on the same day. The driver was exonerated from all blame by the coroner's jury.

May 8. On Broadway, near Sumter street, George Pforger, attempting to get on top of car No. 114, while in motion, lost his footing and fell under the car, was run over and severely injured in the arm.

May 17. On Broadway, corner Kent avenue, Timothy Mahoney, a laborer, in the employ of the company, was acci dentally run over by car No. 128, and slightly injured in the

arm.

July 2. On South Sixth street, near Seventh street, a child of Peter Monell, aged 2 years, while playing on the track, was accidentally run over by car No. 104, and seriously injured; died the following day. The driver was exonerated from all blame by the coroner's jury.
