The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the train, the cause and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person, as follows:

1865.

October 11. Lawrence Brower fell in getting on car No. 3, and was killed.

October 14. A boy named Vierick was run over by car 13 and lost his leg.

November 10. Mrs. Conlan fell off car 128, broke her leg. November 24. Mary Isaacs fell off car while in motion. December 4. Wm. O'Callahan died of injuries received this date, from a freight car of the New York and Harlem Railroad Company running into our car No. 87, at Fifth street crossing.

December 4. Anna Barrett makes claim for injuries on

same car.

December 4. Arthur W. N. Lyons makes claim for bruised arm, side and back on same car.

1866.

January 14. John Byers died of injuries received by car 125; was intoxicated and sleeping on track.

February 21. A boy named Oliver, aged 13, was stealing rides from car to car, and run over by No. 101.

March 1. A boy named Schenitgen, aged 10, was pushed off a pile of sand by a playmate, and run over by car 71, then passing, causing death.

April 1. Peter Bartolmy jumped off car 121 while in motion, and died from the injuries.

April 19. Isaac J. Ellison, policeman, was injured on car 2 by the pole of car 4 in passing.

April 21. William Keller broke his leg, leaving car 84 while moving.

April 22. Philip Schaerr injured his leg in attempting to get on car 119, while moving on curve at Harlem.

April 29.

Gardner, police officer, run over by car 81;

May 1. Patrick Murphy run in front of car 111, was knocked down and run over; died of his injuries.

May 20. A boy named Dubois was run over by car 97 as he jumped off front platform, while in motion.

June 5. John McAvoy fell from front platform of car 80, injuring his foot.

June 22. A boy named White, aged 5 years, was injured by horses of car No. 6, on the street.

June 24. Michael Plunkett injured his foot while trying to get up the side of open car No. 147, while in motion.

June 26. J. Hoffman, aged 12 years, was pushed off front platform of car 95, injuring his foot.

June 30. Henry Former claims damage for falling off car 114, while in liquor.

August 6. Michael Tracy jumped off car 77 while in motion, receiving injuries which caused his death.

August 20. Louis Keffer jumped off car 68 backward while in motion, injuring his leg.

August 26. James Callery, aged 14, fell in attempting to get on crowded car, and since died of injuries.

September 8. Patrick Gray jumped off car 132 and was

killed.

September 28. Martin Ryan fell off his truck by coming in collision with car 61; died of his injuries.

Most of the above have been the result of carelessness on the part of the injured. In any case of carelessness on the part of an employee, they have been discharged.

The undersigned have caused the foregoing statements to be prepared by the proper officers and agents of this company, from the books and records, and have examined them as far as practicable, and believe them to be correct.
