The appropriation for the twenty-sixth and twenty-seventh fiscal years was, I think by error, reduced by the last Legislature one-half, giving one hundred and fifty ($150) dollars per annum for all above enumerated expenses. This is not near enough; I have expended more than that amount-in fact, nearly double-and shall have to ask the next Legislature to make up the deficiency. [SEAL.] F. BAEHR, State Treasurer.
