CHAPTER 1.

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE RELIEF OF THE ENLISTED MEN OF THE SECOND INFANTRY, NATIONAL GUARD OF IDAHO, DIRECTING THE MANNER IN WHICH, AND THE PERSONS IN FAVOR OF WHOM, THE WARRANTS FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE SAME SHALL BE DRAWN, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the general fund in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, the sum of Seven Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-three Dollars and Fifty Cents ($7,333.50) for the relief of the enlisted men of the Second Infantry, National Guard of Idaho, for duties performed by them from the time they were called into service by the Governor of the State of Idaho on June 18, 1916, to the time they were mustered into the service of the United States on July 3-6, 1916, and for which said services the continuing appropriation, made by Section 101 of Chapter 72 of the General laws of the State of Idaho for the year 1911, was insufficient to pay the said.

SEC. 2. The State Auditor is hereby authorized, empowered and directed, upon presentation to him of a certified copy of this Act together with a certificate signed by the Governor and The Adjutant General of the State of Idaho, giving a list of the names of the said men and the amount to which each said man is entitled, to draw a warrant upon the general fund of the State Treasury, in favor of, and deliver the same to, each of the said men named in the said certificate and in the amount to which each said man is entitled as shown by the said certificate, and the said warrant shall be a receipt for all dues and demands for such services; Provided, however,
