July 10. About 7 P. M. a child about eighteen months old, while playing in East Tenth street, near Avenue D, unattended, got under the hind wheel of the car and was seriously injured, and subsequently died of its injuries. Coroner's jury fully exonerated driver of car from all blame in the matter. August 27. Thomas Magee, aged 14 years, was passing along the foot-rail, from one end of an open car to the other, while the same was in motion; a bridle which he was holding caught upon a passing car and dragged him to the ground, and the car wheel slightly injured his foot.
