October 12. Martin Sweeney, 10 years old, caught between car and fence erected by post-office department, close to the track; arm broken. October 30. Hugh Casey, leg broken by being thrown from a wagon which collided with car. December 26. Hymer Frankel, 65 years old, knocked down by horses while attempting to cross in front of the car coming from opposite direction. December 30. Alexander Douglass, 32 years old, fell from front platform through his own carelessness; leg hurt. 1875. February 6. Thos. Smith, 70 years old, walked in front of car deliberately; died from shock; was not run over by car. February 12. Jno. II. Koster, 7 years old, fell on ice under the car; recovered. March 4. Thos. Reilly, thrown from sleigh under horses' feet; contusion on left side of head. March 18. J. Goldstone fell off front platform while intoxicated. March 29. Jno. Gillick fell from car while intoxicated; left arm amputated; recovered. April 28. George Chapman, employe, left car on a curve to get on front of car to collect fares, instead of doing it at the door inside; slipped and fell; died from internal injuries. June 20. J. McArdle, 4 years old, ran from sidewalk and caught hold of fender of car; slipped and fell between the wheels, the hind wheel passing over both legs; died. July 22. Archd. Finley, after being warned, persisted in attempting to cross in front of horses, and was knocked down; run over left leg; was intoxicated at the time; died. September 28. Hiram Rice, 5 years old, ran out from sidewalk to touch side of car; fell, and left hand was run over by hind wheel; recovered. Communications intended for this company should be addressed, WM.
