The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the cause, and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person.

1875.

April 23. As car No. 10, driven by A. Rector, was going down on his 5.51 P. M. trip, between Park and Flushing avenues, ran over a child, 24 years old, named Mary Ellen McMahon, and killed instantly; the jury exonerated the driver from all blame.

June 11. As car No. 22, driven by J. E. Murphy, coming up on his 5.12 P. M. trip, Wythe avenue, between Keep and Rodney streets,

ran over a child, 24 years old, named Samuel Levi, and was killed instantly; jury exonerated the driver from all blame.

June 30. As car No. 14, driven by William Galloway, on his 7.20 P. M. trip, on Wythe avenue, between Wilson and Ross streets, ran over a child, 2 years and 7 months old, named Joseph Adam Wirth, and killed it instantly; jury exonerated the driver from all blame.

August 15. As car No. 12, driven by D. Skidmore, on his 5.57 trip down through Second street, between South Fourth and Fifth streets, his horse knocked down a child, 2 years and 4 months old, named Edward Phillips; the child was picked up from under the car, and the only injury received was from the horse stepping on the child's arm and injuring it slightly.
