The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the cause, and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person.

1875.

June 1. Car No. 9, 11 A. M. trip down, when in Greenwich street, near Morris, a girl about 3 years of age, named Mary McCarthey, ran from behind car going up under the horses' feet, was thrown down, one wheel passing over her chest, killing her instantly. Coroner's jury exonerated driver and company from all blame.
