The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the cause, and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person. 1874. October 26. Miss Wilhelmina C. R. Manifold ran in front of car No. 111, was knocked down and slightly injured. November 24. Thomas Dealsman had a fit while on car 73, fell off and was slightly injured. 1875. February 17. Mrs. Mc Dermot was injured by an express wagon running into car 32, the shaft striking her in the back. March 19. Patrick Leahy, while driving a truck, ran into a pile of dirt, upset the truck, threw him off, and car 186, which was passing, ran over his wrist; he died April 16th; verdict, accidental death. July 29. Frank Beahn, while drunk, jumped off backwards from car 165, and directly in front of car 159, which was coming in the opposite direction, breaking his arm and inflicting other injuries to his person. August 30. Wm. O'Rourke, while attempting to get on car 269. while in motion, fell and had his heel crushed by wheel. There were the usual number of minor cases of persons slipping while attempting to get on or off cars while in motion, but sustaining no injuries. NAMES AND RESIDENCES OF OFFICERS OF THE COMPANY.
