CHARACTERISTICS OF ROAD. Length of road, about thirty-one miles. $10,112 05 The articles of association of this company were filed in the office of the Secretary of State October 1, 1870. Since then there have been some nineteen experimental lines run by engineers, with a view to ascertain the most practicable route, and rights of way have been obtained for about one-third of the entire length of the road.
