The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the train, the cause and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person.

1874.

October 3. George Mason, brakeman, was killed when making a coupling on freight train, at Arcade station.

December 26. Michael Sullivan, while walking on track, was struck by freight train, and so injured that he died within a few hours.

December 26. William Minehan, a brakeman, when trying to get upon an engine, fell off, and was run over, and lost his right foot, and is working for the company as a flagman.

1875.

May 24. Thomas Enright, a brakeman, was killed when making a coupling on freight train, at Olean station.

August 11. Mr. Reed, a passenger, was injured by the door of the water tank, at Lime Lake station; he sat with his arm out of the coach window, and came in contact with the door.
