May 21. N. Cherigome, an Italian laborer, while pushing a car alongside fell and his hand getting on the rail a wheel passed over it. May 26. Daniel G. Preston, an employe, was struck on the head by a switch rope hook which broke while attached to an engine which had been derailed and was being pulled on again, from which injuries. he died May 31.
