may perhaps be expected I should give

some Account of the unfortunate Au. thor of the following beautiful Poems; but as this is already done in a masterly Manner, by the excellent Author of the Rambler, I shall refer my Readers to that elegant Writer for the Series of Misfortunes, and temarkable Circumstances which distinguished the Life of Mr. Savage, and only speak of the several Pieces now before us.
