The Assembly returned the bill entitled "An act making appropriations for certain public and charitable institutions," with a message that they had concurred in the report of the committee of conference thereon. Ordered, That the Clerk return said bill to the Assembly.

The Assembly returned the bill entitled "An act to enable the board of supervisors of the county of New York to raise money by tax for the use of the corporation of the city of New York, and in relation to the expenditure thereof; and to provide for the auditing and payment of unsettled claims against said city," with a message that they had concurred in the report of the committee of conference thereon

Ordered, That the Clerk return said bill to the Assembly.

Ordered, That the Clerk deliver said bill to the Governor.

The Assembly returned the bill entitled "An act to provide the means by tax and to make an appropriation to pay certain awards made by the Canal Appraisers and the Canal Board, and to pay the expenses of sundry improvements upon the canals not chargeable to ordinary repairs," with a message that they had concurred in the report of the conference committee thereon.

Ordered, That the Clerk return said bill to the Assembly.

The Assembly returned the bill entitled "An act to provide for making indices of deeds, mortgages, writings, documents, maps, &c., of record, in the county of Richmond, and for the payment of the costs and expenses thereof, and of the books and materials required for the same," with a message that they have concurred in the further amendment made thereto by the Senate.

Ordered, That the Clerk deliver said bill to the Governor.

The Assembly returned the bill entitled "An act to aid in the building

of railroads," with a message that they had agreed to the report of the conference committee on said bill.

The Assembly returned the concurrent resolution for printing the transactions of the State Medical Society, with a message that they had concurred in the amendment of the Senate thereto.

Also, the concurrent resolution for printing Transactions of Homœopathic Medical Society of the State of New York, with a message that they had concurred in the amenments of the Senate thereto.

Also, the concurrent resolution requiring the Canal Commissioners of Eastern division Erie canal, between Albany and Troy, with a message that they had concurred in the amendment of the Senate thereto.

Ordered, That the Clerk return said resolutions to the Assembly. The Assembly returned the following entitled bills, with a message that they had concurred in the passage of the same, without amendment, to wit:
