The work of editing Vol. 23 (Maritime Law), proved so much greater than was expected, that we were obliged to hurry up Vol. 24, and issue it before Vol. 23. This made a much longer time between volumes than we expected, but the average will be all right, because Vol. 23 is now all in type but the last 100 pages, and will appear in four or five weeks. Next will follow Vols. 28, (now partially in type), 27 and 29, at intervals of five or six weeks, leaving Vol. 26 (Practice) to issue last. The very large number of cases (between 4,000 and 5,000), to be examined, requiring more time than any other topic in the series, obliges us to issue the latter volume out of regular order. The final Index prepared by Mr. Myer, will be issued as Vol. 30.
