The Assembly returned the bill entitled "An act to authorize Matilda Elizabeth Georgiana Perry to take, hold, convey, devise and otherwise dispose of real estate," with a message that they had concurred in the amendments of the Senate thereto, and further amended the same by adding after the word "Chase," the words "or her mother."

"Said corporation is hereby authorized, and shall have power to erect and maintain covered stands or booths in the streets of the cities and villages in said district, except Broadway in the city of New York, provided that no booth or stand shall be placed upon the sidewalk without the previous consent of the owner or lessee of the property adjoining or against said booth or stand; and the number, size and location of said booths or stands shall be determined by the Metropolitan Board of Health, or a majority of said board who shall determine and locate the same upon application by the president of this corporation."
