A beautiful WHOLE-LENGTH PORTRAIT FIGURE in a DRESS OF THE COURT OF FRANCE. Imprudent conduct of Miss Price ............. Pride and magnificence of Braschi when 160 161 The commencement of his disasters .......... 162 A faithful Slave Grief occasioned by his Death We have received some Poetic trifles which we have not had time to peruse, but which will come under consideration as early as possible. Some lines, however, signed Deguir, and addressed to Caroline, are too old, and too well known, to be palmed upon us as original. We have received them before, and we are too well read, as well as of too retentive a memory, not to know them again. We have received the commencement of a Story from our Worcester Correspondent, which we are sorry to find he intends lengthening through three Numbers; we repeat to him that we shall not publish any part of any tale till we have received the whole; when, if we find that it is such as will not suit our Work, it shall be returned. If he did not receive his parcel, as usual, it was owing to the other periodical Work, which the Proprietor of LA BELLE ASSEMBLEE consented to oblige Mr. C with, not being published in time. Maurice and Brighetta; or, The Priest of Rahety, will be reviewed in our next Number. Persons who reside abroad, and who wish to be supplied with this Work every month, as published, may have it sent to them to New York, Halifax, Quebec, and to any part of the West Indies, by Mr. THORNHILL, of the General Post Office, at No. 21, Sherborne-lane; to the Brazils, Madeira, Gibraltar, Malta, and all parts of the Mediterranean; to Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal; and to France and Holland, at 178. 6d. per Quarter, by Mr. CowIB, at the Foreign Newspaper Office, No. 22, Sherborne-lane.
